Job summary

Continental Office, a COR Company in Columbus, OH, designs and delivers workspace environments for corporate, government, healthcare, and education sectors. This Designer role focuses on commercial interiors, space planning, finish selections, and client programming from concept to presentation.

You will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, use AutoCAD and enterprise systems to develop layouts, selections, and specifications, and ensure projects meet budget and schedule while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum three years of post-college experience in design or related field.
• Portfolio must exhibit training in space planning, AutoCAD, color and material coordination and basic design theory.
• Customer service, team and detail oriented.
• Excellent communicator, self-directed, dependable, capable of handling multiple and conflicting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete design process which includes client programming, space planning, product specifications, finish selections, scope, presentations, conceptual design, block and project planning.
• Utilize multiple technology platforms such as AutoCAD and business enterprise systems.
• Regularly interact with customers to assess needs, plan, modify and implement project.
