Job summary

The Trade Desk is seeking a Senior Analyst, Commercial Intelligence and Analytics to lead high-impact analytical work supporting Sales and Client Services. You will translate business questions into scalable insights, collaborating with engineering and operations to deliver durable analytics assets.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision support, proactive signal delivery, and cross-team partnership to improve seller focus and client outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business analytics, analytics engineering, data science, or a similar quantitative role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Python for analysis, automation, and workflow development.
• Experience translating business questions into analytical approaches, requirements, and outputs.
• Experience building repeatable analytics, signals, or insight workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial analytics addressing revenue performance, portfolio health, renewal dynamics, and client opportunities.
• Design proactive insight pipelines translating business needs into analytics logic and output requirements.
• Partner with engineering and revenue teams to embed analytics into dashboards, alerts, and decision-support tools.
• Develop outputs to help internal and client-facing teams prioritize effort and identify risks and opportunities.
• Build trusted analytical assets using SQL, Python, and validated metrics.
• Apply AI/LLM-assisted tools to speed up analytics workflows and improve quality.
