Leatherman Tool Brand is seeking a Commercial Intelligence Analyst to lead quantitative measurement across consumer and commercial performance. You will connect data from marketing, commerce, and product to identify growth drivers and actionable recommendations.
You will partner with Marketing, Product, eCommerce, Consumer Insights, Finance, and IT to build scalable analytics and trusted datasets, driving smarter decisions across the business.
Help us understand the next generation of Leatherman consumers—and turn what we learn into smarter decisions.
At Leatherman, we make products built for real life. Now we're building the intelligence capability that will help us better understand the people who use them, what matters to them, and how we continue creating products and experiences that earn a place in their lives.
If you're an analyst who loves digging into consumer behavior, challenging assumptions, building something from the ground up, and asking “What does the data actually say?”—this may be your kind of opportunity.
Leatherman is building a Consumer Intelligence system—a capability to know who our next-gen consumer is, what they care about, and whether the things we're putting into the world actually matter to them. That system only works if we can measure it.
The Commercial Intelligence Analyst is the quantitative measurement specialist within that system. You're the person who gets hands‑on with the data, builds the analytics and measurement frameworks, and brings a clear POV about what's working, what's not, and why.
You'll work at the intersection of consumer, marketing, commerce, product, and commercial performance, unbiased and always asking, “What does the data actually say?”
You'll translate business questions into measurement approaches, build scalable analytics solutions, and turn complex data into insights that help teams make better decisions.
You'll partner closely with Marketing, Product, eCommerce, Consumer Insights, Finance, and IT to connect data across the business and strengthen how Leatherman measures consumer and commercial performance.

Being a builder. You like creating something that didn't exist before and taking ownership of making it useful.
Raising the bar. You're not satisfied with reporting what happened. You want to build better measurement, ask better questions, and continuously improve how we understand performance.
Bringing an independent POV. You follow the evidence, challenge assumptions, and are willing to say when the data doesn't support the prevailing narrative.
Asking why. You're genuinely curious about consumers, what drives their behavior, and what the data can teach us. You experiment, dig deeper, and keep learning.
Turning complexity into clarity. You enjoy taking messy data and ambiguous business questions and turning them into something people can understand and act on.
Building for scale. You think beyond the immediate analysis or dashboard and look for repeatable approaches that make the entire organization smarter over time.
Using new tools to push the work forward. You actively experiment with AI, automation, and emerging technology—not simply to work faster, but to unlock analysis and intelligence that weren't previously possible.
Success in this role isn't only about technical capability. How you work, collaborate, learn, and make decisions matters too. Our behaviors include:
