Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance and underwriting support preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable collaborating across locations and with virtual teams.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue binders using the in-house policy management system.
• Build and issue policies per underwriting guidelines.
• Review underwriting documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from insureds, underwriters, and producers.
• Process motor vehicle reports (MVRs) through LexisNexis and verify eligibility.
• Collaborate with underwriting to finalize policy issuance.
• Maintain electronic records of policy documents.
• Handle high-volume underwriting support tasks with accuracy.
• Field inbound service calls and emails and route as needed.
• Prioritize daily workload to meet deadlines and service standards.
