CK Specialty is seeking a driven insurance professional to develop and maintain relationships with retail agencies, evaluate risks, and craft effective E&S solutions from submission to binding.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with retail insurance agencies.
• Evaluate commercial risks and determine marketability and coverage strategy.
• Analyze submissions, identify underwriting concerns, and structure solutions for complex E&S risks.
• Market submissions to E&S carriers and negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage.
• Present coverage recommendations and underwriting solutions to retail agents.
• Manage accounts from submission through binding.
• Build and grow a profitable book of business.
• Stay current on carrier appetite, underwriting guidelines, and market trends.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or a related role, with a desire to continue developing your expertise.
• An understanding of commercial insurance risks and coverage, or the ability and willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate accounts and identify solutions.
• Relationship-building skills and an interest in developing long-term retail agency partnerships.
• An interest in both underwriting and business development, with the drive to build and grow a profitable book of business.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the initiative to take ownership of your success.
• An active Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain one.
