The Misch Group in New Jersey is seeking a dynamic Commercial Insurance Marketing Representative to join our independent retail agency in Metuchen. This full-time, in-office role focuses on quoting small to large new commercial business and remarketing renewal business that requires a new placement.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, familiar with insurance carrier rating systems, and able to submit submissions directly to carriers and wholesalers while maintaining strong carrier

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in a similar role or industry.
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Familiarity with standard insurance carrier rating systems.
• Tech savvy and able to operate insurance carrier systems.
• Ability to work in a team environment while being self-motivated.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Quote small, middle, and large new commercial business.
• Remarket renewal business requiring new placement.
• Maintain carrier relationships and attend monthly carrier meetings.
• Rate accounts in insurance carrier portals.
• Submit or rate accounts directly to carriers for quotes.
• Submit harder-to-place business to carriers and wholesalers.
• Log account activities and maintain suspense and follow-ups in the system.
• Collect and provide additional underwriting data with producer and account manager support.
• Explore new markets when applicable.
• Maintain employee logins with carrier portals.

Description

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Marketer to join our team at our independently owned retail commercial insurance agency in the heart of downtown Metuchen. This is a full time in office position. We are seeking someone qualified and experienced to step into the role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the quoting of small, middle, and large new business, and remarketing of renewal business that requires a new placement. Familiarity with standard insurance carrier rating systems is required. If any of the portals are new to you, that is fine, training will be provided but should be tech savvy and able to operate an insurance carrier system. You will also be responsible for sending submissions directly to carriers, including wholesalers, for harder to place business. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of commercial insurance.
