Job summary

JD Fulwiler & Company Insurance in Portland, OR is seeking an Associate Account Manager to support our Commercial Lines team and provide responsive service to clients. You will work with experienced Account Managers and Producers while learning how commercial accounts are serviced from new business through renewal.

Responsibilities include renewals, marketing submissions, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and handling billing questions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in insurance, customer service, or administrative work.
• Commercial insurance experience is a plus.
• Licensing in property & casualty preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support account managers with renewals, marketing submissions, and new business.
• Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and billing questions.
• Gather exposure, loss history and underwriting information for new and renewal business.
• Maintain documentation in the agency management system.
• Prepare client communications, proposals, and coverage summaries.
• Communicate status updates with clients, carriers, and team members.
• Meet deadlines and support multiple managers in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn commercial coverages, policy terminology, and agency procedures.
• Participate in training and professional development.
• Support department initiatives and special projects.
