Job summary

The Jonus Group in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service a middle-market commercial insurance book of business. You will build strong client and carrier relationships and collaborate with team members to deliver responsive service.

Responsibilities include quoting, policy changes, endorsements, and other client needs, plus mentoring support staff and maintaining organized documentation.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required.
• 5+ years of commercial lines experience in an independent agency.
• Proficiency or familiarity with AMS360 preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a middle-market commercial lines book of business, including contractor and generalist accounts.
• Provide comprehensive account servicing: quoting, policy changes, endorsements, and other client needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a middle-market commercial lines book of business, including contractor and generalist accounts.
• Provide comprehensive account servicing, including quoting new and renewal business, policy changes, endorsements, and other client needs.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
• Collaborate with and mentor support team members, serving as a resource for account servicing and professional development.
• Utilize AMS360 to maintain accurate account information and support efficient workflows.
• Identify opportunities for additional coverage, cross-selling, and account growth.
• Coordinate with internal team members and carrier partners to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Maintain organized and complete account documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience within an independent insurance agency preferred.
• Strong commercial account management and client service experience.
• Proficiency with AMS360 preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to manage priorities independently while maintaining effective team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support other team members.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to professional development.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $60,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly bonus opportunities.
