Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager in our downtown Salt Lake City, UT location to serve a defined client base and grow the book of business. You will manage client policies, coordinate renewals and audits, and advise on coverages.

A college degree, insurance licensing, and at least one year in the industry are required. Benefits start day one and success drives opportunity.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree and 1 year in insurance with underwriting, sales, or account management.
• Insurance licensing required.
• Basic knowledge of underwriting, sales and renewals.
• Strong sales, customer service and client relationship skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to resolve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains long-term relationships with a defined customer base to increase revenue.
• Services and manages all aspects for clients and their policies.
• Maintains and grows client and company relationships.
• Promotes growth of existing book of business.
• Markets on renewal and new business.
• Manages renewals, audits, cancellations; informs and recommends coverages.
• Keeps updated on market conditions and technical knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
