Wayne Door in Ohio is hiring Commercial Install Technicians to join our growing team. You’ll install commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, hollow metal doors, and related systems on project sites for businesses, schools, and warehouses.

We’re seeking candidates with experience in construction, installation, welding, carpentry, or related trades, who have strong mechanical aptitude and a safety‑minded approach. You’ll travel to regional job sites and work independently or with a team.

• Experience in commercial construction, door installation, carpentry, mechanical installation or related trades.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
• Dependable, motivated, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, hollow metal doors, and related systems.
• Read and work from job specifications and site conditions.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges in the field.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and equipment.
• Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors on job sites.
• Work both independently and with a team to complete projects efficiently.
