Job description

As the Commercial Insights Manager, you will provide high quality analyses and action-focused insights to identify opportunities and support Hotel Performance Analytics and Regional Commercial teams in delivery of IHG’s commercial priorities. The Commercial Insights Manager plays a key role in supporting revenue growth for hotels, brands, and the IHG AMER region. You will work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.

Your Day to Day

  • Build and manage analyses, models, dashboards, and tools that provide insights and lead to driving hotel, brand, and regional performance
  • Develop presentations to management inside or outside the department in order to report findings, interpret the data analysis, and make recommendations based on results.
  • Analyze results of various testing initiatives in frequency and non-frequency applications.
  • Support and interact in regular meetings with immediate team, stakeholders and regional leadership, including presenting findings from analyses
  • Make recommendations for enhancements to relevant databases from an information needs perspective including internal and external data sources
  • May lead and review the work of less experienced staff by providing mentoring, technical guidance and/or training in daily activities

What We Need from You

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work in business, economics, or statistics, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 10+ years progressive work experience, with emphasis on business analysis. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated expertise in the relevant business areas supported.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint for the purpose of translating technical data and statistical information into actionable business insights for stakeholders, senior leadership, and staff.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with strong attention to detail
  • The ideal candidate will have an excellent balance of quantitative skills (including Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint) and soft skills (including executive presence, and stakeholder interaction).

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $115,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
