Job Overview

RectorSeal, a leading manufacturer of chemical specialty sealants and related mechanical products designed for professional trades, seeks a highly motivated and results-oriented Commercial Inside Sales Specialist to drive the Shoemaker and TRUaire GRD product lines.

As a Commercial Inside Sales Representative, you will provide pre- and post-order support to key dealers and the local sales team to customers in the Western US region. You will seek new business opportunities by responding to sales leads and targeting underserved markets that can benefit from our vast array of Commercial HVAC products and other critical solutions.

The major responsibility will be generating quotes for Shoemaker and TRUaire lines in accordance with the sales strategy. The ideal candidate will also successfully network with contractors, distributors, and independent manufacturers’ representatives in the Western US region. Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Washington state to be in close proximity to the Shoemaker Facility located in Cle Elum, WA. This opportunity will be remote, and the successful individual must reside in the continental US full-time. Preference will be given to applicants who reside on the West Coast.

Core Responsibilities

  • Active role in commercial project quotes and increasing quote conversions past the historical growth rates.
  • Makes outbound calls to potential and existing customers by telephone or e-mail to follow up on submitted quotes, which results in productivity and profitability.
  • Active role in executing pricing and lead time strategy on Takeoff Quotes
  • Develop a method of follow-up on all relevant quotations using Quote Tracker and similar resources.
  • Supports and facilitates pricing strategy in new territories to align with growth and profitability goals.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and timely sales information.
  • Cross reference and technical support to effectively win job quote opportunities.
  • Overcomes business and technical objections of prospective customers.
  • Provide sales operations metrics to Leadership Team and identifies influencers.
  • Lead the execution of processes and programs to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to handle sales, marketing, inquiries, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Attends and collaborates with Operations team meetings to understand capacity concerns and opportunities to overlay with goals.
  • Resolves customer complaints, bottlenecks, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Collaborates with BDS and RSM Sales positions to develop sales quotas and strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and market trends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Two years of Inside Sales experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and order management software.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to consistently communicate professionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills
  • Ability to drive change and improvements in partner organizations to achieve maximum performance
  • Ability to work effectively in both remote and in-office environments.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Two years of experience or greater in the HVAC industry, wholesale distribution sales, or similar service-related experience.
  • Experience as a quote coordinator or in administration
  • Preference will be given to applicants who live near Cle Elum, WA
