Sebastian Corp is seeking an Electrical Estimator in California to assess bid opportunities, develop detailed electrical estimates, and coordinate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate bid proposals and timely submissions.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years in electrical estimating for commercial/industrial construction and a solid understanding of NEC and plan interpretation.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years electrical estimating experience in commercial/industrial projects.
• Ability to read electrical plans and construction documents, including labor factor analysis.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical design principles preferred.
• Experience with bid proposals, takeoffs, and change orders.
• Valid California driver's license with favorable DMV record.

• Review bid opportunities, plans, and specs to determine scope and risks.
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates including takeoffs, labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure accurate pricing.
• Coordinate with contract administrator to submit bids on time.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Assist with pricing changes, alternate scopes, and project cost revisions.
