Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $34 - $40 per hour
• 401K Match: 5%
• 3&3 Tech Flex Program: After your start date, you’ll receive the plan document detailing this retention program. Eligible positions can choose each year from:
• $3,500 Cash Bonus
• 40 Extra Hours of Floating Holidays
• $3,500 in Technical Training

Your Role:

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you’ll:

• Maintain commercial properties, perform HVAC maintenance, general repairs, small service projects, and inspection and maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair appliances, equipment, and building components.
• Provide minor plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service HVAC systems, reach-in/walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machines.
• Respond to emergency service requests.
• Conduct inspections, preventative maintenance, and general repairs (painting, carpentry, plumbing).
• Support facility projects and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with customers and complete paperwork promptly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Utilize provided equipment: fully stocked service van, iPad, iPhone, PPE.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of commercial HVAC refrigeration experience.
• Experience in general repairs (painting, carpentry, plumbing).
• EPA Certification and high school diploma/GED required; trade school preferred.
• Ability to travel, work overtime, and perform physical tasks (lift 75 lbs., climb ladders with 30 lbs., maneuver in confined spaces).
• Willingness to wear PPE and undergo drug, background, and driver’s license checks.
• Proficient with tools, power tools, tablets, and reading blueprints.
• Budget management and repair estimation skills.

• Expertise in HVAC troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance.
• General repair skills (carpentry, plumbing, painting).
• Strong safety practices and customer service skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently.
• Experience with industry software.
