Job summary

U.S. Engineering Service is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Kansas to service, troubleshoot, and maintain heating and cooling equipment including pumps, VFDs, chillers, and boilers.

You will perform startups, on-site installations, and coordinate with customers and engineers to ensure projects meet specifications. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 5 years in commercial/industrial HVAC, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to join the local union.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of service experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Willing to be registered through the local union.
  • Chiller and boiler experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Serve, troubleshoot, and clean HVAC equipment and related systems.
  • Provide preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
  • Assist in on-site installation, startup, and coordination of work with clients.
