Job summary

CloudKitchens is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to maintain and repair commercial HVAC/R systems across multiple sites in the Greater San Francisco area. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure safe, efficient operations to support our rapidly growing network of kitchen facilities.

This role emphasizes hands-on work, with opportunities for growth into facilities or regional leadership roles within a $100B+ industry. Local travel and overtime are available as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience.
• Experience with rooftop units, ventilation systems, or refrigeration (WIC/F).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites locally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems (WIC/R, RTUs, exhaust fans, hoods, make-up air units, DOAS systems).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues across multiple sites.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and warranty work.
• Use Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor performance and diagnose issues.
