Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities, performing proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. The role involves installing, repairing, and servicing HVAC equipment, troubleshooting issues, and following established procedures under supervision.

A High School Diploma or GED with 3–4 years of experience is required, along with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Valid driver's license.
  • Meet the physical requirements: stoop, stand, walk, climb, lift 50 lbs+.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC.
  • Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment for proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action.
  • Follow defined procedures with limited discretion under supervision.
  • Deliver output by following procedures and processes under close guidance.
