Job summary

Lennox AES seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to service and maintain HVAC equipment across a national footprint. Technicians operate under HVAC Foremen and travel on 3–4 week deployment cycles, handling rooftop units, curbs, and related electrical and safety tasks.

The role emphasizes OSHA compliance, field safety, and the ability to work in outdoor rooftop environments; overtime and long weeks are common. Training and apprenticeship paths may be provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC trade.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines for HVAC/construction.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S. on 3–4 week deployment cycles.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

AESa division of Lennox, wasestablished in 1988 and is one of the largest manufacturers of roof curbs and drop box diffuser systems in the nation. We have recently expanded our capabilities as a single source supplier by adding a Mechanical Services Division as well as becoming a Misc. Steel manufacturer. These new services will reduce construction costs and eliminate coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our focus will be to enhance the services provided to our General Contractor network nationwide.AEShas 4 different fabrication facility locations nationwide to assist our customers and reduce their freight cost and shipment lead times.

What Drives Success

Lennox AEShas an immediate position available for aCommercial HVAC Technician. HVAC Technicians travel nationally and work under the supervision of our HVAC Foremen. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial HVAC equipment servicing including rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge and construction safety.

60-70 hour work weeks

What We Are Looking For

• HVAC Technician applicants must be certified and have 3-5 years experience in the trade working under the direction/supervision of a Master HVAC mechanic
• Should have working knowledge of OSHA guidelines for HVAC/construction industry and/or prior training in OSHA requirements
• Ability to travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles
• Ability to work overtime hours when required
• Ability to work in outdoor elements (roofs) in hot and cold weather conditions
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and guidelines to assist in the performance of the job.

What We Offer

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $31-$50/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
