Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to work exclusively at Mt. Pleasant Roper Hospital, SC, installing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems and related equipment.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, adherence to safety practices, and reliable performance in a hospital facility. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Proficient with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of refrigerant cycles, heating components and air distribution systems.
• Proficient with brazing, leak checking and evacuation process.
• Reads mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Able to abide by basic safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and startup commercial HVAC equipment.
• Log HVAC equipment condition and progress notes.
• Drive and pick up equipment and parts as needed.
• Communicate with Team Lead and customers.
• Complete tasks with minimal call-backs.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Observe and report unsafe conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
