Job summary
Apex Power LLC is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems across multiple job sites in Illinois and beyond.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically skilled, able to work independently, and willing to travel to different job locations as needed. Strong diagnostic abilities and good communication are essential for success.
Qualifications
- Previous HVAC technician experience in commercial/industrial settings.
- EPA Section 608 certification preferred or required depending on duties.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to multiple job sites and work extended hours.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, airflow, and refrigeration issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Read wiring diagrams, manuals, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
- Maintain service records and communicate completed work and repairs.
- Travel to job sites and work extended hours or overtime when required.
- Follow OSHA safety requirements.
