Job summary

Crete United in Davenport, IA is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The role includes installation, inspections, and warranty work, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

On-call rotation and overtime are part of the schedule, offering competitive, experience-based pay. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of HVAC service experience, EPA Universal Certification, and Iowa HVAC licensure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Iowa HVAC License (or the ability to obtain within the probation period).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Install and replace HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform system inspections, testing, and maintenance.
• Conduct warranty work, adjustments, and repairs.
• Adhere to safety standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain detailed service records and complete work efficiently.

Position Overview

• Job Title: HVAC Technician
• Location: Davenport, IA
• Schedule: Full-Time | 8-hour shifts | Overtime Available | On-call Rotation
• Pay Range: up to $30 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Install and replace HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform system inspections, testing, and maintenance
• Conduct warranty work, adjustments, and repairs
• Adhere to safety standards and customer expectations
• Maintain detailed service records and complete work efficiently

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Iowa HVAC License (or the ability to obtain within the probation period)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Experience with educational, commercial, or industrial facilities
• Familiarity with chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, burners, RTUs, VRF, and VAV systems
• OSHA 10 certification or higher
• OEM certifications (Trane, Carrier, Daikin, etc.)
