Job summary

Airco Mechanical is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to troubleshoot and repair commercial DX systems, including rooftop and split units, with a preference for VRF experience. You will replace components, maintain records, and communicate with customers and team members in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal License is required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record.
• Able to pass a background check.
• High School or Trade School Graduate or GED.
• 2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial DX HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, package units, and preferably VRF systems
• Replace and repair compressors, motors, expansion valves, coils, and other system components
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked
• Communicate effectively with customers and all Airco team members
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, building codes, and EPA regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicle in good condition

Requirements:
