Job summary

MEMCO Staffing is seeking a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic for a long-term commercial construction project in Cuero, TX. You will install, fabricate, and assemble duct systems while reading blueprints and working closely with other trades.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check. OSHA 10 preferred but not required. Competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, dampers, grilles, and diffusers.
• Fabricate, assemble, and modify sheet metal duct systems as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and mechanical plans.
• Measure, cut, and install sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Install HVAC equipment supports and related mechanical components.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete project objectives.
