The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing heating and air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial establishments. This is a non-exempt position requiring availability for a standard 40-hour workweek, typically Monday through Friday. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and participation in an on-call rotation is required based on business needs.
The role involves frequent exposure to mechanical equipment, moving parts, airborne particles, and variable environmental conditions both indoors and outdoors.
This is a physically demanding position requiring prolonged standing and walking, as well as frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, crouching, and crawling. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per day is required. Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment is necessary for safe and effective performance.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
