Job summary

Energy Transfer Solutions is a service provider within the AIR Control Concepts family. We hire a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and startup a wide range of HVAC systems on-site in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventive maintenance, and optimize system performance while maintaining strong customer relationships and documentation. EPA Universal Certification is required; 3–5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification is required; OEM-specific training preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial HVAC service experience with VRF, rooftops, and packaged equipment.
• Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, and ability to read service manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; professional demeanor.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; able to pass background and drug screening.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and optimize a range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and improve energy efficiency and reliability.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide quality communication.
• Prepare accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in ongoing training and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements; participate in on-call rotation.
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and on-site problem solving as required.
