Job summary

Interstate AC is seeking a skilled Service Technician for commercial HVAC systems in the Nashville area. You will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and occupant comfort.

On-call is limited to two weekends per year, with year-round work and no layoffs. EPA 608 certification preferred or obtainable, and valid driver’s license required. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; HVAC trade school certification or apprenticeship is a plus.
• EPA Section 608 certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Proven experience and proficiency in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep HVAC systems running efficiently.
• Replace or repair defective parts to restore functionality.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and troubleshoot promptly.
• Read manuals and schematics to understand system layouts and controls.
