Your New Role

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you’ll be the problem-solver ensuring commercial buildings run at peak efficiency. You’ll travel throughout the Tampa, FL area, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC/R systems in offices, medical facilities, restaurants, retail stores, and industrial facilities.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC/R systems

• Inspect and maintain refrigeration units, ductwork, and controls

• Diagnose issues with electrical components, refrigerant levels, and air distribution

• Communicate clearly with clients and provide system recommendations

• Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed

• Keep the company-issued vehicle organized and stocked with necessary tools and parts

• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations

Required Experience & Certifications:

• 3+ years, preferably commercial HVAC/R experience (apartment maintenance techs need not apply)

• EPA Certification (Type II minimum)

• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills

• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

• Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Must have a clean (or insurable) driving record

• Ability to pass an in-house multiple-choice exam and oral trade discussion

• Familiarity with restaurant & medical facility HVAC systems

• No violent or sexual offenses (we do not hire registered offenders)
