Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, pumps, cooling towers, split systems, package units, and boilers
- Lead and mentor other technicians
- Work knowledge of air- and water-cooled HVAC systems
- Service VFDs, motors, pumps
- Troubleshoot hydronic and boiler systems
- Knowledge of York, Trane, and Carrier microprocessors
- Maintain company property and tools
- Represent the company professionally and ethically
- Follow procedures for vehicle and warranty parts management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain reliable attendance
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Report unsafe acts or conditions
- Use PPE properly
- Operate equipment safely
- Participate in safety initiatives
- Report injuries or incidents
- Follow legislative and company safety policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED, with additional training and 10+ years HVAC experience
- Valid licensing/certification as required
- Skills in refrigerant systems, HVAC startup, and commissioning
- Familiarity with instrumentation and maintenance procedures
- EPA Universal License required
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and field microprocessors
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs, and work in various environments
