HVAC Service Technician/Installer - Direct Hire

M-F 7AM - 4PM with OT and weekends as needed

Locations: Dallas, TX / Carrollton, TX

Compensation: $28-40/hr DOE with annual bonus potential!

Position Summary:

Service and maintain all commercial/industrial HVAC systems under contract with current customers while developing positive customer relationships.

Essential Functions:

• Perform skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment; change filters, belts, clean coils, and lubricate as necessary.
• Take readings from pressure gauges, thermometers, and electrical meters to evaluate proper equipment operation.
• Read and adhere to diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and manuals for installation and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Commission start-up and checkout of HVAC equipment.
• Install electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls.
• Perform brazing and soldering tasks as required for installation or repair of HVAC equipment.
• Test and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, repair, and test equipment prior to placing back into service.
• Monitor and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain and service hand and power tools related to the trade.
• Complete necessary documents (time sheets, invoices) and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner.
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and maintain a clean vehicle at all times.
• Provide technical support to customers and/or technicians.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of four years of commercial HVAC experience
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Certificates & Licenses (MUST BE CURRENT): Registration with the State of Texas, Refrigerant Certificate (EPA Section 608 AND/OR EPA Universal), Valid Texas Driver's License
• Other: Familiarity with construction plans and specifications
