Job summary

Controlled Climate Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service a range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You will work directly with customers and our service team, primarily in the Canonsburg area.

Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment while working directly with customers and our service team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems


• Work on equipment including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, and related systems


• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues


• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation


• Complete accurate service reports and job documentation


• Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and other team members


• Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable codes and standards


• Maintain an organized, clean, and job-ready company vehicle


• Properly maintain tools, equipment, and materials


• Use company service software and technology to manage calls and documentation


• Work independently in the field while knowing the office team is there to support you

What We're Looking For

• 4-6 years of commercial HVAC service experience, or comparable experience


• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping


• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities


• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of service calls


• Able to work effectively as part of a larger service team when required


• EPA Universal Certification preferred


• Valid driver's license with a clean or reasonably clean driving record


• Comfortable using technology, or willing to learn our systems


• Dependable, accountable, professional, and detail-oriented


• Strong communication and customer-service skills


• Willing to complete a background check and drug screening

Pay & Benefits
