HTS Engineering Ltd. seeks a Service Technician to manage installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial HVACR systems in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a Technician’s Degree or equivalent, with at least three years of relevant experience, and be familiar with VRF and BAS/DDC controls. A commitment to safety and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

The Service Technician will work independently or as part of a team, responsible for the installation, startup, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of commercial HVACR equipment, systems, and units.
Must be able to handle and lift tools and equipment for air conditioning service work. Regularly required to stand, use hands, handle objects, talk, hear, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally sit. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and more with assistance. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
Technician’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with HVAC certification and at least five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are required.
