Polk Mechanical Company is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You will work in a self-directed, high-performance environment and own your tasks with urgency and excellence.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years of verifiable HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and strong knowledge of refrigerants, controls, and wiring. A clean driving record and a valid license are required, with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of verifiable HVAC experience.
• Strong refrigerant piping, evacuation and charging skills.
• Understanding of control systems and wiring/thermostats.
• EPA Universal Certification required for handling refrigerants.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Clean driving record and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment with accuracy.
• Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade HVAC systems and components.
• Commission HVAC equipment including AHUs, fans, and pumps.
• Use instruments to measure static pressure, voltage, amperage, and CFM.
• Perform routine maintenance on belts, filters, compressors, and motors.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and office staff.
• Complete and submit all paperwork daily.
• Adhere to safety rules and defensive driving policies.
• Be available for 24/7 on-call rotations.
