EMCOR Services Mesa Energy in Santa Maria, CA, is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to install, service and maintain commercial systems. You will work on rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, and associated piping, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Candidates should have 5 years of hands-on experience, Universal CFC certification, and the ability to read schematics, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers competitive pay, union benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience maintaining similar commercial HVAC equipment.
• Current Universal CFC certification is required.
• Experience working on ladders, roofs, and attics.
• Ability to read basic electrical schematics and wiring.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Install and service HVAC units, wiring, valves, and refrigerant as needed.
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of RTUs and air handling units.
• Inspect lines for leaks and ensure proper brazing and soldering joints.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including cleaning and filter changes.
