Job summary

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R equipment at customer sites in Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and surrounding areas. The role involves RTUs and various refrigeration units with a strong focus on safety and uptime.

You will maintain the service vehicle, meet customer expectations on every call, and participate in after-hours on-call schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HVAC/R or related military fields.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills are essential.
• Excellent customer communication skills are expected.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Equipment.
• Experience with RTUs, walk-in coolers, reach-in refrigerators, undercounter refrigerators, prep table refrigerators, refrigerated chef bases, and/or display refrigerators.
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain service vehicle and order necessary parts.

Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking qualified Commercial Service Technicians for our team in Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and the surrounding areas. We are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC/R equipment at customer locations.

What does a Commercial Service Technician do?

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Equipment.
• Experience with RTUs, walk-in coolers, reach-in refrigerators, undercounter refrigerators, prep table refrigerators, refrigerated chef bases, and/or display refrigerators
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain service vehicle and order necessary parts.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience in HVAC/R or related military fields. Veterans encouraged to apply!
• EPA Universal Certification
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards
