Job summary

CoolSys is hiring an experienced HVAC/refrigeration technician to service and overhaul equipment across commercial facilities in Lowell, MA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

The role requires EPA certification, 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, and a MassRT license. You’ll work on a variety of cases, support on-call rotations, and contribute to ongoing training and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Vocational-technical or trade school certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to satisfy customer needs in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Repair equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices with safety and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose malfunctions to ensure reliable operation.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical or mechanical methods.
• Maintain legible records of work history and service tickets.
• Support department by processing job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Assist with pickups, deliveries, and installations of cases.
• Work on minor construction/startups for new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely and perform related duties as assigned.
