RSC Mechanical in Michigan is hiring HVAC/R Service Technicians. A family-owned, nationwide service company, since 1988, we invest in technicians and offer long-term stability.

Join a people-first culture that values growth, training, and strong customer service. We seek dependable technicians with 2+ years of HVAC/R experience, willing to work a 8:00–17:00 schedule, and participate in on-call rotations after training.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience with HVAC/R systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and self-contained refrigeration systems.
• Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units and controls.
• Repair self-contained cases, coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
• Handle refrigerants safely per EPA regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch and team.
• Complete digital work orders and required documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation after training.
• Travel locally as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repairHVAC and self-contained refrigeration systems
• Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units, and controls

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience and working knowledge of HVAC/R required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
• Self-startercapableof working independently and in a team setting.
• Customer-focused mindset withstrong communicationskills.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime asrequired.

On-Call Requirements

• Participation in an on-call rotation following the training period. Must always be available and responsive during assigned on-call shifts.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work performed indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to noise, dust, fumes, odors, gases, mechanical/electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterityrequired.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
• Visual acuitysufficientto read printed and electronic materials.
• Ability to lift and/or exert force up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent driving of motor vehicles.

Licenses & Certifications

• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
