Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC/R experience and working knowledge required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.

• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Provide standard hand tools.
• Comfortable using smartphones/tablets and digital work orders.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation after training and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and self-contained refrigeration systems.
• Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, condensing units, and controls.
• Repair self-contained cases, coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive and general maintenance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
• Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members.
• Complete digital work orders and required documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation after training.
• Travel locally as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with overtime asrequired.

On-Call Requirements

• Participation in an on-call rotation following the training period. Must always be available and responsive during assigned on-call shifts.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work performed indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to noise, dust, fumes, odors, gases, mechanical/electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterityrequired.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders.
• Visual acuitysufficientto read printed and electronic materials.
• Ability to lift and/or exert force up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent driving of motor vehicles.
