Job summary

SRV Temperature Solutions in Utah is seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician - Commercial Refrigeration to diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial systems throughout the state. Your primary service area includes Salt Lake City and surrounding communities, with occasional travel to support other branches.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of HVAC/R experience, Universal EPA Certification, and strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of HVAC/R experience (refrigeration industry preferred).
• Universal EPA Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration systems including rack, chillers, coolers, freezers, and rooftops.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and commercial HVAC.
• Service rack systems, chillers, coolers, freezers, rooftop units, and related equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures efficiently and effectively.
• Complete accurate service documentation and work orders.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system performance.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional service.
• Stay current on industry technologies, best practices, and equipment advancements.
