Job summary

CoolSys Service Tech – HVAC performs maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at customer sites. The role requires troubleshooting complex HVAC issues and guiding junior technicians to ensure systems run efficiently.

Minimum 3–5 years in construction HVAC or refrigeration with chiller experience and EPA certification; strong knowledge of electrical controls and blueprints; excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required.
• 3–5 years in construction HVAC or refrigeration.
• Chiller experience required.
• Experience with electrical control systems.
• Ability to read refrigeration, electrical and plumbing blueprints.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC units at customer sites.
• Change compressors, fans and reclaim refrigerant.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Report to work as scheduled; coordinate with supervisor.
• Work on rooftop units, air packages and racks; ensure efficient operation.
