Job summary

CoolSys is hiring a Service Tech – HVAC to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at customer sites. The role involves troubleshooting complex HVAC issues and mentoring junior technicians.

You will work across various industries with a focus on delivering reliable system performance, preventive maintenance, and accurate record-keeping. This position offers scale within a national HVAC provider and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• AA degree and EPA certification are required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction HVAC or refrigeration.
• Chiller experience is required.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial HVAC units at customer sites.
• Service commercial HVAC systems.
• Replace compressors, fans and reclaim refrigerant.
• Maintain legible records of work history.
• Report to work on schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Work with rooftop and rack air condition units.
