Job summary
Total Mechanical Service is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Technician & HVAC/R to troubleshoot and repair high-end kitchen equipment at commercial locations in the Indianapolis area. The role offers a sign-on bonus and year-round work with a take-home company vehicle.
Expect hands-on service on fryers, ovens, steamers, walk-ins, and ice machines, plus PMs and emergency responses. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $45+ per hour depending on experience, with overtime opportunities and benefits
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or food equipment.
- Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Completion of a successful background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driving record must align with our safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose & repair commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
- Work on fryers, ovens, steamers, walk-ins, ice machines, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs).
- Handle service calls and occasional emergency calls.
- Communicate directly with customers.
