G.E. Mechanical LLC is a leading full-service mechanical contractor, headquartered in Vineland, NJ and serving all of Southern New Jersey. Family operated since 1984, G.E. Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial, industrial and residential customers.

No On-Call!!!

Responsibilities

1. Installs heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories.
2. Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
3. Performs start-ups on air conditioning and heating systems and other components.
4. Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
5. Effectively communicates with customer regarding questions, concerns, and problems.
6. Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work.
7. Following standard procedures and process, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to branch, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as needed.
8. Responsible for keeping installation vehicle clean and neat both inside and outside in keeping with the company's professional image.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. 2+ years of HVAC installation experience leading a team in installing commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proficient mechanical aptitude.
2. Ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
3. Team collaboration is a priority and installers must be willing to work and assist team members as needed, in addition to working overtime, night, and weekend hours if needed.
4. Understanding of control systems and wiring.
5. EPA certification.
6. Professional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the company.
