Job summary

Automated Mechanical is hiring HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technicians for Utah operations. This is a full-time field role focused on maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems across a variety of building types.

You'll complete scheduled maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read wiring diagrams, and keep detailed service records. Travel to job sites and adherence to safety standards are required. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC training or certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in an HVAC Maintenance or Service role.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms.
• Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
• Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps.
• Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.
