Job description

Job Title: Commercial Pipefitter - Copper Refrigeration Line Installer / Pipefitter [Heating and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration]

We are seeking individuals experienced with copper brazing and refrigeration line installation for immediate work throughout the Greater Houston, TX area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with room to grow!

The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of recent verifiable experience as a pipefitter installing copper refrigeration piping in a commercial construction setting. OSHA 10 is required on some jobsites.

Basic Job Description:

Install, repair, maintain, and test various lines used for HVAC/Refrigeration equipment in accordance with local and state codes.

Minimum Required Experience:

• Knowledge of mechanical heating and air conditioning piping systems.
• Proficient with brazing and soldering copper refrigeration lines.
• Proficient with testing, purging, and repairing refrigeration lines.
• Excellent use of power tools, acetylene torches, etc.
• Proficient with pipe system layouts, supports, and blueprint interpretation.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial pipefitter experience installing refrigeration piping.
• Must have own hand tools and brazing torch required for refrigeration pipe installation.
• Proper IDs required for employment.
• Ability to climb/work off ladders, lifts, etc.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the city.
