Job summary

The Peterson Company, LLC in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Commercial HVAC Journeyman Installer to lead installation and on-site operations. Responsibilities include directing mechanical system installation, planning layouts, ordering materials, and coordinating with field supervisors and project managers.

Consistent with the role, you will maintain daily production reports, prepare as-built documentation, and ensure safety and proper equipment usage on the job site. Experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience directing and installing mechanical systems.
• Ability to plan, lay out and optimize project installations.
• Communicate and order materials on time.
• Coordinate with field supervisors and project managers.
• Maintain daily production reports and as-built documents.
• Ensure on-site safety and proper rental equipment procedures.
• Secure and organize materials and company property on site.

Responsibilities

• Direct installation of mechanical systems on site.
• Coordinate and document additional work with signed time and materials tickets.
• Maintain daily job production records and reports.
• Prepare and update as-built documentation.
• Communicate with subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
