Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer for a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity across multiple sites around Tacoma, Olympia, and surrounding areas. This role demands strong commercial installation experience, with rapid adaptation to quick-turn projects and varied jobsite conditions.

The position offers 40–50 hours per week with an immediate start, and ongoing opportunities to progress toward direct hire based on performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Experience with RTUs, mini-splits, ducted split systems, and economizers.
• Ability to travel between job sites and work 40–50 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and modify commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Install and work with RTUs, mini-splits, and ducted split systems.
• Install and troubleshoot economizers and related HVAC components.
• Perform equipment change-outs, retrofits, remodels, and tenant improvement work.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and equipment documentation.
• Ensure HVAC installations meet applicable codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Work efficiently on quick-turn projects while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with other trades and jobsite personnel as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
