Job summary
Nature Air Corp is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC duct mechanics/installers for ongoing commercial construction projects throughout South Florida. Dependable duct work mechanics who can perform and execute installations independently.
Responsibilities include reading plans, installing fiberglass, sheet-metal and spiral ducts, hanging and aligning ductwork, and coordinating with the project supervisor. We value reliability and offer long-term opportunities with advancement into Lead Mechanic
Qualifications
- Commercial HVAC/ductwork experience.
- Able to read a tape measure accurately.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Own HVAC/ductwork tools.
- Comfortable reading mechanical plans.
- Able to work independently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable attendance.
- Professional attitude; leadership of a helper is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Read mechanical plans and duct layouts
- Install fiberglass, sheet-metal and spiral duct systems
- Install supply, return, and exhaust/intake O/A ductwork
- Install hangers, supports, dampers, diffusers and grilles
- Lay out duct runs and identify required fittings
- Coordinate field conditions with the project supervisor
- Maintain clean, professional installations
- Work safely and productively with helpers and other mechanics
