Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking an experienced Glazing Estimator for a full-time role with a client in the United States (Texas). The estimator will review drawings, prepare cost estimates and develop competitive bids for commercial glazing projects.

Responsibilities include material take-offs, supplier pricing, labour costs, and coordinating with project teams to ensure bids are accurate and submitted on time. Candidates should have strong glazing systems knowledge, Excel proficiency and estimating

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Glazing Estimator or similar commercial glazing role.
• Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems including storefront and curtain wall.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Experience conducting material take-offs and preparing labour and material cost estimates.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and relevant estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, documents and project specs to determine glazing requirements and scope of work.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for commercial glazing projects.
• Perform material take-offs and calculate quantities for glass, framing and related glazing components.
• Calculate labour, material, equipment, subcontractor and installation costs.
• Develop bid proposals with clear inclusions, exclusions and assumptions.
