Job summary

Planet Glass is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial glass and glazing projects from contract award through final completion, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget compliance in Columbia, Tennessee. You will read blueprints, coordinate purchasing, scheduling, field operations, and subcontractors, while maintaining quality standards.

This role involves customer and contractor communications and supporting billing and warranty tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.
• Commercial glass/glazing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company software.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
• Review contracts, plans, specifications, and project scope.
• Coordinate purchasing, scheduling, field operations, and subcontractors.
• Monitor budgets, labor, materials, and profitability.
• Process RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and closeout documentation.
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support billing documentation and warranty completion.
