Apple Door Systems is seeking a Commercial Garage Door Technician in Williamsburg, VA. You will maintain and repair overhead/garage doors, dock equipment, automatic pedestrian doors, and related systems, reporting to the Commercial Manager.

This full-time role requires a hands-on technician with a focus on safety and reliability. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of commercial overhead/garage door experience, a valid driver's license, and a solid track record of customer service and

• 3+ years of Commercial Overhead/Garage Door experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from base office.

Responsibilities

• Install Overhead/Garage Door products per manufacturer specifications.
• Perform basic diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment.

Summary

In the role of Commercial Garage Door Technician, you will assume a pivotal responsibility in the maintenance and repair of Overhead/Garage Doors, Dock Equipment, Automatic Pedestrian doors, and related systems.

Duties

• Install Overhead/Garage Door Products per manufacturer specifications
• Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain paperwork and records as necessary.
• Maintain a safe, Secure and Healthy Work Environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of Commercial Overhead/Garage Door experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must have an acceptable MVR to be added to our auto insurance policy.
• Must have dependable, reliable transportation to and from your base office location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding, OSHA 10, first aid, and/or CPR certification(s)
• Basic Knowledge of Construction and Hand Tools
• Mechanical Inclination
